Paddle in the Estuary-2 hours $55
We launch from our dock and paddle east into the estuary to explore the braiding of the Cowichan and Koksilah Rivers. The estuary is home to many Great Blue Herons, and has visits from geese and swans on their annual migration. With lots to see this is a great, easy tour. Kayak and equipment provided.

Moonlight and Bioluminescense Paddle Tours-2 hours $55
A relaxing evening paddle in the estuary and bay to experience Cowichan Bay at night. This is a magical experience either at full moon or new moon, when the bioluminescence if most visible. Enjoy one of the most spectacular birding areas in Canada in the Cowichan Valley. We have a multitude of wetlands and are on the migratory routes of many species. We go out into the estuary in a canoe, set up for holding photographic equipment for the best possible photo-opportunities for birding. Tours of two to six birders use our Clipper Mariner canoe. All tours are guided. Our regular tours are for beginner and intermediate birders. More accomplished birders should contact us for details on special tours. Big Trees and Living Seas-Pacific Marine Circle Route $130
Drive and walk the Pacific Marine Circle Route from Victoria to Port Renfrew, Lake Cowichan, Cowichan Bay and back to Victoria. Visit some of the biggest trees in Canada, particularly, the Avatar Grove. Wander along the beach and sea shelf at Botanical Beach in Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. Stop in at Cowichan Lake and the Cowichan River on the way to visit to the estuary at Cowichan Bay for a little birding experience. Lunch is provided in Port Renfrew.
